Mapped Point(s) Column

Output point a channel is mapped to. To map a point to a channel, select a channel on the left side of the I/O Mappings form, then click on a check box for an I/O point on the right side of the form. See I/O Mappings... for details.

Synchronous I/O Task: resolvout

This analog output process writes the 6 output channels to a single resolver hardware board.

In position mode, the task expects the raw value computed to be a floating point angle value between 0 and 360 degrees. If the value is outside of this range, a warning is written to the system log file and the value reduced to the 0 – 360 range.

In rotation-speed mode, the raw value computed must be a floating point value in the range from -4000 to 4000 degrees per minute. If the computed value is outside of the allowed range, a warning is written and the value is clipped.

The user is expected to supply appropriate conversion factors in the RTDB so that the computed raw values fall within the range of values allowed by the board.

One instance of this process is run for each board configured in the RTDB.
