AI64SS:Stream

The General Standards AI64LL:Stream is a 32/64 channel analog input board. The board can be configured to run in either differential or single ended mode. In differential mode 32 channels are available; in single ended mode, 64 channels are available.
The AI64SS:Stream SimWB device uses the AI64SS board as the AI64SS device but configures it to read values in streaming mode into an array I/O point.

Board Settings

Voltage Range

Selects the voltage range for all the channels on the board.

Raw Units

Selects the units of raw values as being either Count or Volt. This is the unit used to store the raw value in the SimWB RTDB for the mapped item.

When Volt is selected, the voltage read from the board is stored as the raw value in the RTDB. If your I/O point is defined with an associated engineering conversion, you must write the conversion to convert from volt to engineering unit. Without engineering conversion, the item value and raw value in the RTDB will be the same and expressed in volts.

When Count is selected, the unsigned 15-bit integer value read from the board is stored as the raw value. If your I/O point is defined with an associated engineering conversion, you must taken into account that the raw value range of 0 to 0x7fff corresponds to the voltage range configured on the board.

Sampling Rate

Sets the rate at which values are read. They array I/O point must have enough points to hold all the values that will be read each test cycle (Sampling Rate/Test Cycle Rate).

Differential Input

Selects whether the inputs are configured as 64 single ended channels or 32 differential mode channels.

Mapping Table

Each channel has two input values that input points may be mapped to. Select a channel/input value on the left side of the I/O Mappings form, then click on a check box for an I/O point on the right side of the form. See I/O Mappings... for details.

Data Array

Array of values being read from the input. The array I/O point must have at least Samping Rate/Test Cycle Rate elements.

Sample Count

The number of values read from the input each time a new array value is read.
