The Concurent Corporation CP-AD3224-DS is a 32 channel analog input board. The board features 24 bit resolution and works in differential mode only. The board can be ordered with a +5 -% volt or +10 -10 voltage range. The voltage range is not software selectable and is an ordering option only.

Note: When configuring a SimWB test in a closed loop configuration, i.e. your model(s) generate output(s) connected to a hardware ouput channel and you expect a feed back on an AD3224-DS input channel, you have to take into consideration that the CP-AD3224-DS is a delta-sigma type board.
This means that the input will be filtered by the delta-sigma hardware and might not be available immediately on the input channel in the frame following the output. The CP-AD3224-DS needs around 50 micro seconds for the input values to settle.
If your test is configured with a fixed step (frame length) of 100 micro seconds or longer, the feed back will be reliable. This will not be the case for frame shorter than around 100 micro seconds.
Selects the units of raw values as being either Count or Volt. This is the unit used to store the raw value in the SimWB RTDB for the mapped item.
When Volt is selected, the voltage read from the board is stored as the raw value in the RTDB. If the mapped variables are defined with an associated engineering conversion, you must define the conversion to convert from volt to engineering unit. Without engineering conversion, the item value and raw value in the RTDB will be the same and expressed in volts.
When Count is selected, the unsigned 24-bit integer value read from the board is stored as the raw value. If the mapped RTDB variables are defined with an associated engineering conversion, you must take into account that the raw value range of 0 to 0xffffff corresponds to the board hardware voltage range.
Channel number.
Input point(s) a channel is mapped to.
To map a point to a channel, select a channel on the left side of the I/O Mappings form, then click on a check box for an I/O point on the right side of the form. See I/O Mappings... for details.
The analog input process reads the 32 input channels on a single CP-AD3224-DS hardware board. One instance of this process is run for each board configured in the RTDB.
