Steps to import FPGA firmware configuration in SimWB

FPGAWB generates a FPGA Configuration file(xml file). This file is transferred to SimWB and must be selected in the drop-down in the Firmware Selection page in the CPFPGAArV/CPFPGAArV IO device panel. This file gives information about the IPs and PinOuts of the firmware on the board to SimWB.

Please follow these instructions to import FPGA Configuration xml in SimWB

Step 1: Open the project in FPGAWB GUI
Step 2: File->Export SimWB XML. An xml file will be generated with the name mentioned in the firmware flv field in the Compile Firmware Panel
Step 3: Open SimWB. In the CPFPGAArV or CPFPGAArV panel import the generated xml file. You should see the xml in the drop-down in the Firmware Selection Panel

If Import feature is not available in SimWB for CPFPGAArV, please follow the instructions below
Step 3: Copy the xml to the following location /usr/local/ccursim/SimGUI/FpgaConfigXMLs
Step 4: Open SimWB. You should see the xml in the drop-down in the Firmware Selection Panel
